Examples of the projects I have worked on
WELSH LONGHOUSE
Full conservation and renovation of this 17th century Welsh longhouse and farmstead with lime plasters, limewashes, ecological insulation, limecrete floors, hand forged ironwork, oak mullions and sash windows. Exemplar of practical conservation based on a full understanding of the history and significance of the building.
GRADE II* FARMHOUSE
Advice on the conservation of this gutted Grade II* listed farmhouse from initial consultation to site visit and ongoing advice for both client and contractor. The project involved limecrete floors, internal wall insulation, hemp plasters, clay paints and stand oil paints.
HISTORIC FARMSTEAD SIGNIFICANCE
Analysis and statement of significance to inform change at this historic farmstead with Grade II* listed farmhouse, and range of curtilage listed buildings including workers cottage, threshing barn, cider house, cow housing and piggeries.
